Eureka Advisory Committee is Up and Running!

The FCSP team was able to pull together a very diverse and robust group of Eureka waterfront stakeholders to be a part of our advisory committee that will help guide the planning process across the next two years.

After a short presentation about the project and local port data, the committee was broken up into two groups where everyone had a chance to voice their opinions on difficulties they see in the port and things they'd like to see in the future. We got a lot of great ideas and information from the committee and we're really excited to have had such a great group of participants. Pictures of all the ideas generated are available on Facebook.

Next steps for Eureka are stakeholder interviews (already underway!), and a public meeting in either late summer or early fall (date is still TBD). If you're interested in being interviewed, please contact Rob Dumouchel (rjd255@humboldt.edu). If you want updates and reminders about the project and meetings, you can sign up for our newsletter, or follow us on Facebook.
